The records room at the Criminal Affairs Department is where old case files and evidence are kept. Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey once came here in search of the files and evidence concerning the DL-6 Incident. Although they were eventually able to find said files, they were interrupted by Manfred von Karma, who proceeded to use a taser to incapacitate the pair and steal the DL-6 evidence. Luckily for them, Fey was able to hold onto one of the pieces of evidence, which later proved vital in the resolution of the case.

According to Miles Edgeworth, the files concerning Misty Fey are also kept in the records room.
