- This article is about the piece of evidence in The Captive Turnabout. For other evidence with the same name, see Security Footage (disambiguation).
Security camera footage was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Bronco Knight.
Knight's murder and Carcerato's escape[]
The night Knight was murdered, Fifi Laguarde had Frank Sahwit turn off the breakers for three hours as usual, allowing her to move the body to the well to set it up. However, after Sahwit turned the breakers back on, she forgot to put the timestamp back to its original time.
Later in the morning, during the animal show, Rocco Carcerato entered the holding cell in his attempt to escape the prison. However, the tape caught him as his pet polar bear, Teddy, entered the cell in search of its master. He was then forced to return to his cell to avoid being caught.
Later, Edgeworth received the footage from a security guard after requesting for it. It was initially assumed that the footage showed the victim being attacked by a black dog. However, it was later revealed that the silhouette that attacked the person in the video was a bear, proving that the person in the video was in fact Carcerato. Later, it was used to prove that someone had shut off the security. This revealed a gap in the supervision, which was only possible if the culprit had shut off the circuit breakers.
