The security plan was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Bastian Rook.
Attempt on Wang's life[]
Sometime after Bronco Knight came up with an idea for a false assassination plot to boost Di-Jun Wang's approval ratings in Zheng Fa, the security plan was made to allow Knight to pull off his plan. However, days before this was to happen, Shelly de Killer infiltrated the bodyguards in order to assassinate Wang for real. Although Rook noticed de Killer, by that time the assassin had managed to get close to his target. The assassin managed to easily outmaneuver most of the bodyguards and overpower Knight, whom he grabbed by the throat so hard that the latter was later forced to wear a neck brace and was unable to turn his head to the right. Unfortunately for de Killer, Rook proved far more formidable, as he quickly grabbed, twisted, and shot the assassin's left arm. De Killer managed to escape with his wounded arm and a newfound respect for Rook's skill.
The security plan was subsequently changed to account for this new development, with the bodyguards in the audience removed to prevent de Killer from using the same tactic and Knight and Rook's positions switched to allow Knight to continue with his plan. A copy of the plan was also placed in a bag and hidden in a trashcan on the left side of the spectator area.
The plan would later be found by Edgeworth alongside a revolver. He later used it to prove that John Doe was no ordinary ice cream salesman, as he knew Rook's full name when Edgeworth and the rest didn't. He later found the initial security plan in the plane, allowing him to deduce that the plan had been changed, which was confirmed by Knight. He later handed it, along with the other evidence, to Knight temporarily, as President Wang meant for the Zheng Fa police to take over the investigation. However, after Edgeworth negotiated with Wang to return the investigative authority to him, Knight returned it along with the remaining evidence.
