Ryunosuke Naruhodo
Hm... You wouldn't expect a rough and ready sailor to have such beautiful handwriting.

A ship's log was evidence in Ryunosuke Naruhodo's investigation into an incident involving Kazuma Asogi on board the SS Burya. The title on the cover read Ship Protocols, but it was used as a log of events. Bif Strogenov dutifully and meticulously wrote down seemingly every detail of events that would occur on the ship in 30-minute intervals, even writing "Nothing to report" when there was nothing to put down. However, on the night before Asogi's lifeless body was found inside his cabin, Strogenov wrote virtually nothing between 2 a.m. and the following morning. Herlock Sholmes used this fact to deduce that something had, in fact, occurred that night, which had prevented Strogenov from writing in the log.
