A bottle of sleeping pills was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Jack Hammer.
Hammer's murder[]

Wright added the bottle to the court record after Cody Hackins accidentally bumped into the table it was on. He later used it to prove that Hammer had stolen the Steel Samurai costume from Will Powers. He then had it given to the police to be checked for Hammer's fingerprints. Later that day, Dick Gumshoe returned it after confirming that it bore Hammer's fingerprints. He then used it to prove to the security lady that Hammer had stolen Powers's costume.
