Steel Samurai trading cards were a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Jack Hammer.

While chasing Cody Hackins, he dropped the card and the security lady picked it up. Wright later received it after trading a cardkey to her. He later attempted to use it to get Hackins to explain what happened on the day of the crime. However, this failed because the card belonged to Hackins in the first place, and he already had another copy. Afterwards, he gave it to Penny Nichols and received an Ultra Rare Premium Card in return.
