The Supreme Court of Judicature was the highest court in Japan during the country's Meiji period. It housed at least two courtrooms and five defendants' antechambers.

Two notable trials held at the Supreme Court were the secret trial of Ryunosuke Naruhodo for the murder of John Wilson (which started Naruhodo on the path to becoming an attorney) and the trial of Rei Membami for the murder of Jezaille Brett.


There have been four known trials held at the Supreme Court of Judicature:
