Role in Faraday and Rell's murders
- Main article: Turnabout Reminiscence
The video was a recording of Rell shooting Deid Mann dead, as Calisto Yew had hired him to do. The video was used as evidence against him during his trial. However, Rell suddenly accused the prosecutor, Byrne Faraday, of hiring him as an assassin to kill Mann. The trial was suspended, and Rell and Faraday headed into Defendant Lobby No. 2. There, Yew killed Faraday, and instructed Rell to play the video from a VCR inside the room and turn the volume to the maximum before killing him as well. She then left a window open and went to Defendant Lobby No. 1, where she spilled some of her perfume. The gunshot from the video was heard by Detectives Badd and Gumshoe, making them discover the bodies and believe that the murders had happened right then, throwing off the times of death. All this helped to secure Yew's alibi, as she could prove that she had been in Lobby No. 1 when the murders had supposedly happened.
