A note written by Taifu Toneido was a piece of evidence in the trial of Bucky Whet for Toneido's murder. It was written on a piece of wrapping paper ripped from a box of "Camel" brand manjū shortly before Toneido's death. The note read, "Resting. Do not disturb." It was initially believed that this meant "I am resting. Do not disturb.", but it was later discovered to actually mean "This dough is resting. Do not disturb it.", in reference to the noodle dough he had been preparing.

Athena Cykes used this evidence in court to establish that the noodles Toneido had been making were udon rather than soba, as only udon dough should be allowed to rest.
