Takuro Fuse is a Capcom employee who was the lead character designer and art director on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, as well as co-director on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.
Style[]
Fuse learned to adapt to many styles that were not his own in the course of his work, and took after the work of Tatsuro Iwamoto when making art for the Ace Attorney series. He describes his own style as inspired by old shōjo manga, specifically the works of Osamu Dezaki, Akio Sugino, and Shingo Araki.[1]
In Ace Attorney[]
Fuse was involved in Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective[2] He got his start in the Ace Attorney series with Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit, where he is credited as an "additional character designer". He mainly worked on still scene illustrations.[1] He was then involved in the creation of Phoenix Wright in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.[2] For Dual Destinies, Fuse updated the designs for Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth, as well as designing all the new characters. He likewise updated Maya Fey's design for Spirit of Justice.
