According to some AA5 article in the Famitsu website, Kokone studied in "America", which in the game's localization is most likely gonna be Germany again if past AA games are anything to go by (so I bet Kokone is gonna get a German-ish name in the localization).
Also, according to Siliconera (who played the AA5 TGS demo), Phoenix's first client in this game, Shinobu Morizumi, is a childhood friend of Kokone.

- I think I should clarify on that matter that von Karma family in Japanese game indeed studied in America, but they were German anyway. I can't picture Kokone as German... It would be somehow ironical if in the localization it turns out that she is American and she studied in Japan. (Total opposite to Japanese version) Sligneris (talk) 15:01, September 22, 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't be surprised if they made her Austria (German is a first language there) in the English version.
Now that I think about it, considering Kokone is a specialist in psychological analysis, Austria would be pretty fitting since thats where psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud lived. ;) 18.104.22.168 16:16, September 26, 2012 (UTC)
Kokone Kizuki's name[edit source]
According to this interview, Kokone's name comes from a play on words for “to notice things” and “listening to the heart or soul”. The interview also confirms that she indeed works under Phoenix.

- Let's not post pictures claiming to be "interesting" without any kind of explanation. It's spoiler-baiting. I mean, it could be a localization update for all someone who hasn't clicked on it knows. capefeather (talk) 15:17, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
Cases that she worked on[edit source]
Can someone add her storyline during the events of GS5? I live in America and I can't translate most of the Japanese in gameplay videos that I've seen.
