Gammel?[]

It may be just me, but when was Gumshoe called "Gammel?" Is it in court or something? Because I present Gumshoe everything (for the heck of it) and I don't recall Gammel...--Tutuboy95 01:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

No idea, maybe it's a translation. I just remember laughing when Franny called him "Scruffy McTrenchcoat" --SleepingDragon7 15:46, 10 August 2009 (AEST)

Other than this page about a fan-made game, I have no idea where it came from. I don't remember it from the games either. I'm going to remove it for now, but if someone wants to put it back in with where it's from and/or who said it, then I won't object (no pun intented :P). Strabo412 22:21, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
I think Gammel is from German. I'm a German and know the Word 'Gammel'. It means 'old' or 'scruffy'. Rotten meat calls Gammelfleisch in German. Because Franzi is german, I think this is very logical. 84.46.7.158 07:21, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Favourite[]

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Eh, Gumshoe is my favourite character in the whole series....Ace Detective 15:27, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Gumshoe at Wright's Offices[]

I was just wondering, should Gumshoe's time as a cook and assistant at Wright & Co. Be on his occupation listings? wrightfront Januray 14, 01:11 (UTC)

Sprite sheet?[]

This page needs the character sprites. He is, after all, a major character appearing in every game to date!

Dat bandaid[]

Gumshoe has had that bandaid for 8 years. I dought he gets an injury in the same spot for 8 years. Maybe its a fashion statement? Apollojustice4all (talk) 21:00, May 19, 2014 (UTC)

Should there be a trivia section?[]

Should there be a trivia category or something similar?

For instance, in the second Investigations Game, Gumshoe says his favorite flowers are roses (because they remind him of weddings) and carnations (because they remind him of birthday parties).  I wanted to add this information to Gumshoe's page, but I don't know where to put it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.178.171.173 (talk) . Things like his favourite flowers could fall under the personality section. - Strabo412 (talk) 09:34, July 28, 2014 (UTC)
How about the fact that he mimics the eyebrow animation of Doomguy? Sounds like pretty decent trivia to me Redjarman (talk) 18:44, February 26, 2015 (UTC)
Ignoring the fact that moving your eyebrows as you look to the side is hardly confined to Doom, Gumshoe moves each eyebrow twice before raising them both. The Doomguy just looks side to side. Why would the Ace Attorney series, which doesn't do pop culture references subtlety, reference Doom (which I don't think is particularly well-known in Japan) in such a subtle way and not copy it action for action? - Strabo412 (talk) 19:32, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

Psyche Locks?[]

Gumshoe is listed under characters with psyche locks, but I can't remember a point in any of the games where this happens. Is this a mistake, or have I seriously overlooked something?

{{SUBST:Template:UserBluestarandBrightheart/Sig}} 23:54, October 11, 2014 (UTC)

He has a Psyche-Lock in 3-3, near the beginning of the second investigation. capefeather (talk) 01:28, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Spirit of Justice title is wrong in references[]

I don't know how to edit them but it should be Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice not Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, can someone fix that? Draph91 (talk) 09:00, September 16, 2016 (UTC)

Done. 116.14.127.47 09:37, September 16, 2016 (UTC)

Should I add this?[]

To his sprites?

Run Gumshoe Run!
I could be wrong, but isn't that just a composite of the sighing and running animations already in the gallery? capefeather (talk) 21:04, November 27, 2019 (UTC)
