- "The principle of double jeopardy refers to the rule which prevents a person who has once been tried of an offence from again being tried for the same offence". The way your link phrases it still leaves it unclear. Dictionary.com defines double jeopardy as: "the subjecting of a person to a second trial or punishment for the same offense for which the person has already been tried or punished." The other top dictionary sites after a Google search (including both the Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries) agree. Strabo412 01:14, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Think about it. Double Jeapody is a LAW...not a law related sisuation.
- Hopefully Capefeather's edit will suit as a happy medium. Like Maya. Strabo412 23:42, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
