Is anyone going to complete the case summary for this case? I wanted to have at least one game's complete case summaries done before the end of the year and JFA is half way complete (or half way unfinished depending on how you look at it.) AA is missing 1 1/2 case summaries I guess but damned if I'm gonna sit down and play through Rise from the Ashes again. Just making sure I don't step on anyone's toes if I begin work on this - Turnabout Bigtop will take immensely longer for me to write up seeing as I know I'll get bored of it a little way in. - Premonition 05:15, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm not really banking on it getting done by the people who have added plot details already. A lot of these people seem to just swoop in, make a halfhearted attempt to add something, even if they don't even end with a period, and then just leave. Also, I'd hardly call this half a summary, lol. capefeather 20:45, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Also, to be honest, I've felt the same way about stepping on people's toes (or that someone else would be more capable of writing a good episode article), but I don't think it's reasonable anymore to expect someone to come along and magically dump complete case summaries onto the wiki. Besides, Wikipedia editing pages warn, "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed for profit by others, do not submit it." So people messing with each other's writing should be expected. capefeather 20:56, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Well are there any other cases ? I have some free time. The King of the Loveless

Look around. Also, it would be preferable to use "~~~~" to sign your posts if you're not doing so already. capefeather 21:33, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Ah Capefeather, I meant JFA is half finished/incomplete as in 2/4 cases have been more or less completely written for. AA has 3.5/5, T&T has 2/5 and AJ 0/4. But seeing as I don't intend to sit through Rise from the Ashes again and I'd REALLY like to see at least one game completely summarised sometime soon, JFA seems to be the best option. But KOTL, if you are planning on doing this article, I'll get started on Turnabout Bigtop then. - Premonition 21:48, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
I just realized that you said "AA" had 1 1/2 cases missing. Oops... capefeather 23:17, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

ok I will try Big Top User:The King of the Loveless

Wait what, I said I'll do Bigtop if you want to do Farewell lol. Unless you want to do Bigtop then I'll do Farewell. - Premonition 22:15, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Well a case file is a plot summary with a little more detail right ? User:The King of the Lovelesse

Yes, basically. It usually takes me a few hours to complete one though, as I play through the case again, pressing every statement for every little detail, but feel free to do it however you wish as long as you don't copy and paste from places such as Court Records. Capefeather isn't too keen on that and I must admit, neithier am I. Anyway, let me know which case you wish to write for and I'll do the other one. - Premonition 22:30, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, I meant specifically that you shouldn't copy-paste and then leave it at that. I've seen pages where someone copied and pasted directly from a CR character page and just left it at that with no appropriate formatting or anything. And then there are the slightly different style considerations and such... But copying isn't entirely "OMG BURN THE HEATHEN"-worthy, I guess. For example, I copied off of Wikipedia to give Ace Attorney some beef, but I went through it, fixed some grammatical errors and rewrote some of the stuff, took out templates that didn't exist on this wiki (they have a citation template over there) and slapped on Template:Wikipedia, all while leaving the existing organization and data relatively intact. Of course, it would be preferable if the material was the editor's own. I don't want to be imposing like everyone has to follow MY RULES or anything like that, lol. I'm just trying to facilitate construction efforts while doing some construction/fixing myself. It's just that no one has shown any desire to build policies and such, so I mostly copied StarCraft Wiki and Final Fantasy Wiki for those (so I'm definitely not innocent of copying, though that kind of copying is encouraged on Wikia AFAIK). capefeather 23:13, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Oh heavens no I'm playing through Turnabout Big Top taking notes all the while. User:The King of the Loveless

"Fancy"?[]

Playing through the case just now (yes, that's right people, this case summery is finally going to get finished....eventually. Rejoice!) and was confused by something. Right at the start, when you examine the wall of the Viola Hall Wright says:

Phoenix Wright
This sure is one luxurious hotel. Almost to the point of gaudy, with how it blends together everything "fancy" imaginable. (Speaking of fancy, didn't that bellboy give me something like that last year?)

Any thoughts on what this "something" Mr. Wright is talking about could be? :S Strabo412 01:13, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe it's just the affidavit? capefeather 04:56, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe...The affidavit is the only thing I remember that the bellboy gave to Wright. Plus, the bellboy was pretty happy with the affidavit soooo...Ace Detective 10:33, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, that was the only thing I could think of. Still, it was a bit of an odd way to talk about it, though I will admit that I didn't know what an affidavit was until I played the game. Also, I supposed to someone like Nick who is afraid of their law books, an affidavit would be "fancy"... :P Strabo412 12:23, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Typo in the middle of the case?[]

I think I found a typo while on day 2 (March 22, 5:24 PM as it say in the game) of this case. When Gumshoe barge into Wright & Co. and after a short conversation. You can click three topics, "The Future", "Edgeworth", and "Franziska".

When I click "The Future" and went through a conversation with Gumshoe; he said "I guess that means I'm just gonna half to work here at your place, pal!"

I think he was suppose to say the word "have" not "half" because his sentence does not make sense at all.

Knowledge can be anything or something you know about. (talk) 13:38, January 12, 2013 (UTC)

You're welcome to put typos on an episode article's page if you like. Turnabout Sisters and Turnabout Serenade already have typo subsections under "Notes" on their respective pages. - Strabo412 (talk) 17:06, January 13, 2013 (UTC)

Image of Engarde's request[]

Hi, I would like to see an image of what the section called "Development" says. I quote, it says "Engarde's hit request to de Killer is shown in the draft intro, but he is obscured so that neither his identity nor his gender can be determined." Can anyone show me an image of that, pointing where Engarde exactly is, please? I'm really interested in that.Rodrigo CornejonCornejo (talk) 19:32, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Unfortunately, as the citation shows, the scene is only described in draft notes and was probably never actually made. Capefeather (talk) 23:46, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
Crap, okay, thank you for answer anyways.Rodrigo CornejonCornejo (talk) 05:53, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
