As these cases are strongly linked with the introduction of Kay Faraday, I believe that "KG-8" is a reference to "Kay-gate". (See: List_of_scandals_with_"-gate"_suffix.) To be honest the first thing I thought of was KG = cagey, but that doesn't really make any sense. I think your theory is a bit of a stretch since none of the other case names seem to have meanings, it's an interesting idea though. Strabo412 14:34, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
