Ok. Scratch that idea for reasons later. I highly doubt Larry's full name is Laurice. The question is why did we get rid of his previous thought full name. Larry is a nickname for Lawrence. Now I looked it up Lawrence and found very little about it's meaning. All I found was that it meant "the one who wears a laurel wreath." laurel wreath is made form Laurels, duh, and laurels was used by the ancient Greeks to crown victors in the Pythian games. Could this be ironic considering Larry's luck?

== Larry skipped a grade ==
  +
  +
We know the event to which brought the trio of friends (Phoenix,
  +
Edgeworth, and Larry) together. Well if you don't here's a quick
  +
refresher. In spring Fourth grade, Phoenix was accused of stealing
  +
Edgeworth's lunch money, stood a class trial where everyone pretty
  +
much forced him into confessing, and then Edgeworth and Larry save him by defending him.
  +
  +
Note that it is spring of fourth grade, meaning it's close to the end
  +
of the year. So by the time DL-6 happens the trio are in 5th grade. And yet Edgeworth is still 9. Yeah Edgeworth is still 9 even though
  +
most 5th graders should be 10. And Edgeworth is about the age of my sister whose birthday is in December (she is one of the oldest kids in her class).
  +
  +
Now I remind you that in the localized version, it takes place in L.A.
  +
but in the original version, the class trial still happened in spring
  +
of 4th grade, but since that's in Japan, it's the start of fourth
  +
grade, not the end. So in the original version, DL-6 happened in
  +
December of the trio's fourth year of school, not the fifth. In other
  +
words, the trio is a grade older than the Japanese counterparts.
  +
  +
So what's that got to Larry? Yes Edgeworth did skip a grade but A) he has clearly proven that he handle the work (He became a prosecutor at age 20, he clearly skipped a few more grades after he moved to Germany) and B) Edgeworth was not the only one who skipped a grade in the localized version (I refuse to talk about Phoenix)
  +
  +
When looking at the court-record in the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, we see that Larry is younger than Edgeworth. (Larry is 25 during Bridge to the Turnabout and Edgeworth is 26). Yeah Larry also skipped a grade in the localized version. And his birthday is past March (Turnabout Ablaze) if the court-record is to be believed. So he spent the majority of 4th grade being 8.
  +
  +
As to the why Larry was able to do this, one can only guess but as the facts stand Larry skipped a grade! [[User:Franzyfan1998|Franzyfan1998]] ([[User talk:Franzyfan1998|talk]]) 17:26, June 20, 2015 (UTC)

In "Trials and Tribulations" Larry mentions his failed love interests Katty Tom and Bennifer. Those are likely references of Hollywood supercouples Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, makes "Katty Tom". Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were "Bennifer".
