Hmm... I wonder what the Kanji/Hiragana on her dress say... 123fendas (talk) 22:06, January 21, 2016 (UTC)

I actually found some info on this a while back when I was looking at a site that talks about localisation differences from Japanese to English (link). It's actually a really interesting site by a translator who has done a lot of work on games (the Mother 3 translation possibly being one of the most notable) and anime (with FUNimation). I thoroughly recommend looking through the various articles; there are even a couple of other ones on Ace Attorney stuff.
Unfortunately, he isn't really able to shed any light on what Morgan's clothes say ("...To be honest, I don’t really know. I can make out some individual characters, but I can’t seem to piece anything together that I can look up or research well. It seems to be your regular ol’ all-kanji Buddhist scripture, or at least meant to look like it"). A commenter on the same page claims that there's a sentence from a 14th century Japanese book called Jinnō Shōtōki mixed in there, but I wouldn't count an anonymous commenter as a credible source. - Strabo412 (talk) 00:30, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

"Although initially planning to kill Hawthorne"[]

My memory is a bit fuzzy, so I'll ask here: was it explicitly stated why she wanted to kill her daughter? I mean, I would see plenty of reasons as to why Dahlia would've wanted to kill Morgan, but not the opposite. If the reason was specified, I'd suggest to add it to the text, just to make the paragraph more clear. Trucy Wrong (talk) 12:32, February 23, 2017 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, this is the entire exchange on this topic:
Phoenix Wright
How did you manage to discuss the plan? When did you talk with Morgan Fey?
Dahlia Hawthorne
Last year, she was transferred to the same detention center as me. Since I was on death row and she was my mother... ...it was actually pretty easy to meet with her.
Judge
I see... So that's when you discussed the plan?
Dahlia Hawthorne
...Ha! Are you crazy? At first, that woman was planning to kill me as well! ...Even though I'm her own daughter.
Phoenix Wright
All to make Pearl Fey the Master of Kurain...?
Dahlia Hawthorne
She's a cold, twisted woman. She thought she could finally regain her lost honor. The honor she lost when her younger sister, Misty, took her place as the Master. Ever since that day, she's been working on this plan.
You'll see it's not specific, but Morgan's twisted sense of honor seems to have been the motive. Hope that's semi-helpful? - Strabo412 (talk) 18:05, February 28, 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, she thought her two daughters (Dahlia and Iris) were useless just because they didn't have any spiritual power. Maybe she considered them part of the dishonor that hit their family, and was planning to kill them to wipe out all traces of said dishonor, along with making Pearl Master of Kurain, of course. Trucy Wrong (talk) 17:21, March 1, 2017 (UTC)

First Husband[]

Wasn't her first husband named Hawthorne? They describe him as a jeweler named Hawthorne. So should that be changed in her associates?
