• This case is connected to the first case in the game, Turnabout Countdown. Just as Candice Arme is about to testify, Ted Tonate quickly exclaims that a bomb has been re-armed, causing everyone to evacuate the courtroom.

Cultural References

• After Blackquill made a comment on Apollo's theory of a third party during the second trial, Wright replied in thought "(As long as they don't punish us in the name of said moon for what we've done to it...)". This is a reference to the destroyed Moon Kingdom from anime Sailor Moon.
• While using the Mood Matrix on Cosmos, Wright replied in thought "(Please tell me I finally sunk his battleship...)". This is a reference to the well known board game, Battleship.
• Starbuck yells "I'm going to prison instead of spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!" during one part of the trial. This is a reference to the Space Core from the sequel to Valve's Portal 2, who yelled "SPAAAAAAAACE!" when being sucked into space.
