This trial-opening theme was created based on one of Mr. Maeba's unsuccessful attempts. If his work hadn't been scrapped, I'm quite certain that this theme would never have seen the light of day. |
"The Great Ace Attorney - Court is Now in Session" is a music track originating in The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures. It is used throughout the game during initial trial scenes in the Supreme Court of Judicature or Old Bailey before any witness testimony is given, and thus can also be considered a character theme of Seishiro Jigoku and the British judge. It is reused for the same purpose in The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, with "The Great Closed Trial - Court is Now in Session" being used instead in The Resolve of Ryunosuke Naruhodo. It is part of the recurring "Court is Now in Session" tracks used throughout the Ace Attorney series, though unlike its predecessors, a separate piece, "The Great Ace Attorney - Adjudication", is used at the end of a trial.
