The show was inspired by the legend of Lady Kee'ra and borrows heavily from the American television show The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo, with its theme song being almost identical to that of The Steel Samurai, albeit with the taiko drums in the introduction replaced with traditional Khura'inese instruments.
