Trucy Wright is Apollo Justice's sidekick, and Phoenix's adopted daughter. She is a future stage magician born into the Gramarye family of magicians; her father being Zak Gramarye, and her grandfather Magnifi.

Seven years before the game starts, Trucy hands off a piece of evidence from Kristoph Gavin and is instructed to give it to Phoenix Wright, who was to defend her father, Zak in court against Prosecutor Gavin in his court debut.
After helping her father escape the courthouse, she went to Phoenix so that someone would look after her since her father left. Phoenix gladly took her in and raised her as his own child for seven long years.
