Turnabout Reclaimed[1] is an additional case of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies that was released on August 15, 2013 in Japan and costs 800 yen (including tax). Its price was halved from August 15 to September 12.

The case was released in English on November 21, 2013, available for €4.99, $5.99, or £3.99[2].

The case takes place after Phoenix Wright regains his attorney's badge back, in-between The Monstrous Turnabout and Turnabout Academy chronologically. This case is also not part of regular gameplay and is able to be accessed from the main menu separately on its own.

Trivia

  • This is the first case to not have a culprit who was criminally responsible for the crime. Although it is not the first case to have the culprit commit something other then murder, this is the first case in which "the culprit" in no way inflicted the victim's death, intentionally or otherwise.
  • This is also the first case in which no criminal is arrested then later convicted at the end of the episode. Marlon Rimes was only give rehabilitation by the Judge, rather then an arrest or prison sentence.
  • This is the only case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies to have actual singing by the cast.
  • This is another case in the series to have a murder victim with a repeat name ("Jack").
  • (In Europe and America only) This is the only case where you get awarded with another DLC outfit (in this case, it's Phoenix Wright's "Feenie" outfit)
  • When Dr. Crab is explaining about the TORNADO's full name, Phoenix wonders if it might be "super admin restricted desktop access password-protected". This is a reference to what has become a rather famous moment in Recipe for Turnabout, in which presenting unrelated evidence to Lisa Basil prompts her to state that the information is "SPARDA", prompting a reference to the movie "300" by Maya and Phoenix.
  • This is the second time that Pearls "recharged" Wright's Magatama.

Pop Culture

  • When examining the "shark cannon", Athena mentions that seeing sharks "flying and whirling through the skies" would be a sight to see. Phoenix at this point thinks to himself "(A tornado full of sharks? Not even Hollywood could conjure up something that insane.)". This a reference to the TV movie "Sharknado".
  • The incident with Azura Summers could be referring to a real life Killer whale incident that had recently occurred in 2010; where a Killer whale, Tilikum killed his trainer, Dawn Brancheau in Orlando SeaWorld.

References to other cases

  • When Wright says that he will defend Orla in court, he mentions that he once cross-examined an animal before and proved the defendant's innocence. This is a reference to Turnabout Goodbyes, where Wright cross examined a bird, which gave hints to its owner, and was able to prove the defendant innocent.
