The victim's shoe was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Bruce Goodman.

Goodman's murder[edit | edit source]

Shortly after the judge attempted to adjourn the trial for the day, Angel Starr revealed the shoe as her decisive evidence. It was accepted into evidence shortly afterwards. Afterwards, Wright found a contradiction with the blood on the bottom of the shoe and the lack of bloody footprints on the scene of the crime. However, Miles Edgeworth deduced that this was because the footprints had been washed away by Lana Skye during her arrest.
