Alf Aldown's shoes were a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into Di-Jun Wang's murder.
Di-Jun Wang's supposed kidnapping[]
Upon arriving at the Happy Family Home orphanage, Di-Jun Wang left a series of footprints. He was killed by Bodhidharma Kanis shortly afterwards and his body taken away by Fifi Laguarde and Excelsius Winner. Alf Aldown witnessed the two moving the body away and believed it to be a kidnapping. In order to prevent Aldown from testifying about the other two conspirators' identities, the body double killed him and brought his body to the center of the garden, stepping on the footprints Wang had left to prevent a second set of footprints being found. He then placed Wang's shoes on Aldown's body, creating the illusion that the footprints Wang left were made by Aldown himself.
Di-Jun Wang's murder[]
12 years later, the body double was murdered and Edgeworth reopened the SS-5 Incident. During the investigation, he found the shoes on Aldown's feet. He later added them to his organizer after deducing that they were not his. Later, he used them to show how the body double had moved to avoid leaving footprints.
