The mysterious unnamed wagon driver was an old woman who delivered Hershel Layton and Luke Triton to Labyrinthia. It was later revealed that the same woman was responsible for transporting "witches" who had been "executed" via the fire pit from a secret area underneath the Witches' Court to Darklaw in the Eldwitch Woods in order to be turned into Shades.
