A wiped floor was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Bronco Knight.
Knight's murder and Carcerato's escape[]
Two days prior to his murder, as Knight was being escorted to his holding cell after visiting Simeon Saint, he and the guard were attacked in the cell and knocked unconscious by Rocco Carcerato. The assault left a bloodstain on the floor, causing Carcerato to wipe it up to prevent investigators discovering the existence of a third person at the time of the incident.
Later, Edgeworth found the wiped floor inside Knight's holding cell. After assuming that the victim had been killed in the cell due to the Security Camera Footage, he asked forensics to check for traces of blood. It was later confirmed that the victim's blood had been wiped away. He later attempted to use it to prove that the murder had occurred in the detention center; however, upon realizing his mistake, Edgeworth used the wiped floor to instead prove that Carcerato had knocked out Knight. Edgeworth later removed it from his organizer along with the other evidence of Carcerato's escape.
