Juan Corrida, who played the Jammin' Ninja, entered into the 2018 Hero of Heroes Grand Prix being held at the Gatewater Imperial Hotel, but lost to Global Studios' The Nickel Samurai. Corrida had foreseen this loss and planned to reveal a secret belonging to Matt Engarde, the Nickel Samurai's actor, at a special post-ceremony press conference. However, before he could do so, he was murdered by an assassin hired by Engarde.
- The studio's Japanese name is "Kouei Productions" (光映プロダクション); "Kouei" may be a reference to Toei Company (with Global Studios' Japanese name also referencing the company), which is well-known for producing tokusatsu shows, while the name format may reference Toei's real-life tokusatsu rival company Tsuburaya Productions (光映プロダクション).
- Worldwide Studios' and Global Studios' names may be a reference to Universal Studios.
